As part of the 2015 Victor Hugo International Music Festival, we were involved in a special commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Island’s liberation from German forces with a unique appearance and performance of the world renowned Berlin Philharmonic Octet. We designed a celebration programme which included heartfelt written accounts from locals and occupiers during the war. Our concept was of Memories, using a double exposure technique to suggest both hardship and celebration, old and new.
